After a number of betas and of being presented as the Network edition of AOMEI Backupper, AOMEI Backupper Network (aka abNetwork) has finally reached its official launch date as a centralized backup manager in its own right. Working together with its predecessor – which has now become the client tool it requires to locate and connect to all PCs and workstations in your LAN – this free utility will not only save network managers time and worries but can also help them reduce the overall operational costs.

All you need to do to create a centralized network for all your backups is install a copy of AOMEI Backupper on any PC connected to a LAN and abNetwork in the workstation that you want to use as your central server. The program’s scan will detect all of your clients in a snap and will let you manage them as you see fit. You can group them in as many ways as you wish, which will allow you to apply different backup schedules and types to different groups. The program can perform backups of your clients’ system, disk, and partitions. Likewise, the program supports full, differential, and incremental backups, and will wait for offline machines to wake up to perform automatically whatever backup tasks you had scheduled for them.

Actually, abNetwork is so easy to use that you don’t need to be an IT manager to enjoy its free functionality – all you need is a LAN with more than one computer connected to it and the need to save your data periodically without worrying too much about it. more
